Characteristics of a Good Teacher

First off for a good teacher, you have to have good self confidence. You have to take pride in everything you do. You have to know how to run your classroom and the students. Also you have to always go with your first choice in anything you do. Don't second guess your guess. Secondly, you have to have great knowledge. You have to know the material really well before you try and teach the students. Most teachers have to go over their material more than once before teaching it. Nexts, you have to be a good listener. You have to listen to what your students have to say and see how they feel about things because you can learn from them. Make sure you engage with them at all times. Last but not least, you have to have a passion for kids because if you don't, it's no point of being a teacher. You have to want to make a dfference in your students lives. Be their role model.  Be their light and be a outgoing  teacher for your students. Its nothing wrong with going beyond for your students because half of them will have some problems at home and you would need to be their second parent.

Being a good teacher is the way to be in the education field.
